We are looking for a Director of Marketing, Sales & Advertising to lead revenue growth, elevate brand presence, and drive customer engagement across all channels. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual and seasonal sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets
- Analyze sales performance, inventory trends, and customer behavior to optimize merchandising and pricing
- Lead, coach, and motivate retail sales teams to deliver exceptional in-store experiences
- Collaborate with buyers and operations to align product assortment with market demand
Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Create and implement integrated marketing plans (digital, grassroots, in-store, events, and partnerships)
- Oversee brand positioning, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints
- Manage email marketing, social media, website content, and paid advertising campaigns
- Build relationships with local businesses, resorts, and community organizations to drive traffic and brand awareness
Brand & Customer Experience
- Champion a premium yet approachable brand identity reflective of the mountain lifestyle
- Enhance the customer journey—from first interaction to post-purchase loyalty
- Develop promotional campaigns, seasonal launches, and in-store experiences
Team & Leadership
- Manage and mentor marketing and sales staff
- Foster a collaborative, positive culture aligned with family business values
- Partner closely with ownership to align on vision, growth, and long-term strategy
Data & Performance
- Track KPIs including sales growth, customer acquisition, retention, and ROI on marketing efforts
- Utilize CRM and analytics tools to inform decisions and improve performance
- Prepare regular reports and strategic recommendations for ownership
Qualifications
- 3–10+ years of experience in sales and/or marketing leadership (retail or outdoor industry preferred)
- Strong understanding of both brick-and-mortar retail and e-commerce environments
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and brand development
- Experience managing teams and developing talent
- Passion for skiing, outdoor lifestyle, or mountain communities strongly preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Pay: $50,000.00 - $59,000.00 per year
