Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial sewing machines. This position requires attention to detail, creativity, a love for animals and textiles. As a Seamstress, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality repairs that meet our clients' specifications.
Responsibilities
- Operate sewing machines to repair horse blankets of various thichnesses.
- Patching holes, resewing seam rips, replacing missing hardware.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and make necessary adjustments.
- Collaborate washing team to understand project requirements.
- Maintain an organized workspace within the warehouse environment.
- Manage fabric and hardware inventory and ensure materials are available for production needs.
- Follow safety protocols while operating machinery and handling materials.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar role.
- Proficiency in using various sewing machines and tools.
- Strong understanding of sewing techniques and fabric types.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
