About the Role
This is a genuinely hybrid position — half physical warehouse work, half operational administration — and we're looking for someone who takes equal pride in both. On any given day you might be packing a pallet in the morning and reconciling a shipping invoice in the afternoon. If that sounds like a good day to you, we want to hear from you.
You'll be based at our Santa Rosa warehouse three days of the week (ideally Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday), with full ownership of the space and the work.
What You'll Do
Warehouse & Fulfillment
- Keep the warehouse organized, clean, and inventory accurate day-to-day
- Pick inventory for installation orders and pack outbound shipments
- Coordinate pallet deliveries and pickups with freight carriers
- Manually prep and test equipment and materials to support the field installation team
Shipping & Administration
- Manage outbound shipment documentation and tracking
- Review invoices, purchase orders, and shipping records for accuracy — catch discrepancies before they close
- Manage office supplies and keep our small Santa Rosa office running smoothly
What We're Looking For
- Comfortable doing physical warehouse work — lifting up to 50 lbs, moving pallets, packing boxes
- Equally comfortable opening a laptop and reviewing a document line by line
- Detail-oriented enough that a wrong quantity or a missing line item bothers you
- Self-directed — you'll own your priorities across the three days you're on-site each week
- Reliable and consistent; we're a small team and we count on each other
Bonus Points
- Experience with shipping platforms or freight coordination (FedEx, UPS, LTL carriers)
- Familiarity with invoice review, purchase orders, or basic logistics administration
- Any background in hardware, agriculture, construction, or field operations
Compensation & Details
- $35/hour
- Part-time: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9am–5pm (24 hrs/week)
- Based in Santa Rosa, CA — this is an on-site role
