Insurance Defence Attorney – General Liability

Salary: $105,000–$165,000, depending on experience
A respected and growing litigation firm is seeking an Insurance Defence Attorney to join its Berwyn office.
This hybrid position offers competitive compensation, bonus potential and the opportunity to take meaningful ownership of general liability matters.
It is well suited to an attorney looking for greater flexibility, stronger career development and more hands-on litigation experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Defend general liability, premises liability and automobile claims
- Handle slip-and-fall and casualty litigation
- Manage cases from initial instruction through settlement or trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery and legal memoranda
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Attend court hearings, mediations and arbitrations
- Assess exposure and develop case strategies
- Communicate with clients, insurers and opposing counsel
Requirements
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bars
- At least two years of insurance defence or general liability experience
- Strong legal research, writing and case management skills
- Ability to manage cases and deadlines independently
- Clear and professional communication skills
