Sinton ISD is seeking qualified applicants to fill a maintenance position. Depending on the qualifications and experience of the selected candidate, the position may be filled as either a General Maintenance Worker or a Licensed Plumber. Compensation and placement will be based on the candidate's credentials, experience, and assigned duties.
- Current Texas Journeyman Plumber License required
- Experience installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems
- Knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair plumbing issues
- Placement on Maintenance Pay Grade MT-6
- Experience in building maintenance, construction, facilities maintenance, or related field
- Plumbing repair experience preferred
- Ability to perform general maintenance and repair duties throughout district facilities
- Placement on Maintenance Pay Grade MT-4
- Plumbing repairs and fixture replacement
- Building and grounds maintenance
- Carpentry, painting, and minor electrical repairs
- Preventive maintenance
- Responding to maintenance work orders
- Emergency repairs as needed
- Safe operation of district vehicles, tools, and equipment
Salary placement will be based on qualifications and assigned position.
