Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products related to lawn care, gardening, horticulture, floral design, and landscape maintenance.
- Provide expert advice on plant care, landscape projects, and seasonal gardening tips to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems efficiently for cashiering, cash handling, and processing transactions accurately.
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure merchandise is well-presented to maximize sales opportunities.
- Maintain knowledge of e-commerce platforms to support online orders and facilitate seamless customer experiences across channels.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting stock checks, organizing stockrooms, and replenishing products on the sales floor.
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate merchandising efforts and ensure store cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Skills
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers.
- Knowledge of lawn care, landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture, floral design, and related outdoor or indoor plant care practices.
- Experience with retail math for handling transactions accurately and managing stock levels efficiently.
- Proficiency in using POS systems and cash handling procedures to ensure smooth checkout processes.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stocking tasks and maintain attractive displays.
- Ability to provide outstanding customer service by actively listening to customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Familiarity with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and sales performance.
