SUMMARY: A medical receptionist position responsible for maintaining the front office and representing the practice with professionalism. This position requires multi-tasking effortlessly, prioritizing efficiently, handling patient requests, placing outbound calls to patients, and handling all administrative tasks with a positive attitude (to include patient check-in, check-out, receiving payments, and answering telephones)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer Phone calls in a polite manner

Schedule/Reschedule appointments (check blood thinner and pre-authorizations)

Check patients in (Scan Documents and IDs, Collect Payments, scan follow-up paperwork)

Balance cashbox at the end of the day

Print Out Follow-Up paperwork at the end of the day
-
Tidy up lobby at end of day (and as needed)

Check Mail
-
Scan and Fax documents as needed
-
Turn in deposit on a weekly bases

Other tasks as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
