About the Company and Position:
We are a construction company located in central Massachusetts that specializes in demolition, labor services and final cleaning. As we grow, with new jobs constantly starting at different sites throughout the state of Massachusetts, especially the Boston/Cambridge area, we are looking to add an additional member to our delivery/warehouse team. Primary responsibilities will include driving tools/supplies to and from job sites in order to meet schedule deadlines; gathering tools/supplies for new and ongoing jobs when notified by management that they are needed; maintaining a clean work environment; assisting the Warehouse Manager and co-workers by ensuring proper procedures are implemented and meeting schedule requirements. Must be available for early morning and some night shift deliveries
Delivery/ Warehouse Worker Job Duties:
- Non CDL driver to complete deliveries by driving truck or van to and from job sites in a timely fashion to meet scheduling requirements.
- Prepare new jobs and re-stock current jobs by processing requests and supply orders; pulling supplies and tools; packing gang-boxes and trucks.
- Maintains truck or van by completing preventive maintenance requirements; arranging for repairs.
- Maintains quality service by following organization standards.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, and workstations neat; maintaining clean loading dock area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing publications.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with all team members; maintains professional working relationships with all members of the company and other companies we do business with.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
