Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid certification or license as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with both elementary and high school populations preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Ability to develop and implement intervention plans
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Collaborative approach with staff, students, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students in grades K-5 and 9-12
- Participate in multi-disciplinary teams to discuss assessments and planning
- Develop individualized education programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies
- Provide direct counseling and support to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement evidence-based interventions
- Consult with parents and families regarding student needs and progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
