Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Construction Manager or Superintendent to lead and oversee construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with industry-standard management and scheduling software. Your expertise will drive project success through meticulous planning, coordination, and supervision of all construction activities.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations on construction sites, supervising subcontractors, vendors, and onsite personnel to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Develop and manage project schedules construction management software to meet deadlines efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of construction plans.
- Monitor project progress through site inspections, quality control checks, and tracking key performance indicators to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Manage contractual obligations by reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and construction management software to document progress, communicate updates, and resolve issues promptly.
- Conduct project meetings with stakeholders to review milestones, address challenges, and adjust plans as needed for optimal results.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and environmental regulations while maintaining a focus on quality assurance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management or superintendent roles with a strong background in residential and luxury construction.
- Extensive knowledge of construction site operations including scheduling, budgeting, blueprint reading, and quality control processes.
- Proficiency with project scheduling; experience with Construction Management Software such as ProCore or Bluebeam is highly desirable.
- Strong supervisory skills with demonstrated success in managing teams on large-scale projects; excellent communication and management capabilities.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards along with the ability to enforce safety protocols rigorously on-site.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documents related to construction projects including specifications and blueprints. Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
