Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools and interpret automotive wiring diagrams to identify issues accurately.
- Repair and maintain various vehicle systems including powertrain, transmission, suspension, electrical systems, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs, wheel alignments, and vehicle transmission system repairs to ensure proper operation.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently to execute repairs with precision and safety.
- Follow schematics meticulously for electrical wiring and component replacement tasks while adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Document all work performed accurately for auto estimating purposes and maintain detailed repair records.
Skills
- Proven dealership experience with a strong background in automotive repair and diagnostics.
- Proficiency in interpreting automotive wiring diagrams and schematics for complex electrical systems.
- Hands-on experience with ADAS calibration, vehicle alignment, and suspension system repair.
- Skilled in using automotive diagnostic tools and understanding automotive electrical systems.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, transmissions, diesel engines, and vehicle systems.
- Experience with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus; welding skills are advantageous.
- Strong customer service orientation combined with technical proficiency to deliver outstanding service experiences.
