Position Summary:
Responsible for managing the execution, direction, and coordination of all transportation matters within
the organisation. This includes, organizing schedules & routes, ensuring that vehicles are safe and meet
legal requirements, managing budgets, and making sure that drivers and other warehouse personnel are
aware of their duties. This position requires leadership abilities, advanced communication and customer
service skills and the ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
Essential Job Functions:
❏ Produce schedules for warehouse personnel in accordance to business levels.
❏ Maintain a high level of communication and provide clear directives to drivers, crew and other
warehouse personnel.
❏ Continuously gather and review information from sales and operation offices regarding rental
order details on a daily basis.
❏ Coordinate all driver paperwork and ensure proper execution of related policies and procedures
such as required client signatures and rental item accuracy.
❏ Direct inbound or outbound logistics operations, such as transportation or warehouse activities,
safety performance, or logistics quality management.
❏ Quickly process and communicate new information regarding logistical changes to all necessary
team members.
❏ Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, and customer issues.
❏ Schedule daily delegation of workload to warehouse personnel.
❏ Supervise duties and activities of the warehouse and delivery personnel and observe day-to-day
operations and special projects.
❏ Ensure rental items are delivered to sites in a timely manner as per client’s criteria.
❏ Oversee & monitor rental inventory.
❏ Supervise & coach warehouse personnel on best practices and company policies.
❏ Forecast needed equipment, tools, labor, and transportation outside of the company’s standard
capacity.
❏ Implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
❏ Perform other duties as requested by management.

Minimum Position Qualifications:
❏ A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required.
❏ Previous experience in dispatch and or warehouse logistics.
❏ Able to lift 70lbs.
❏ Professional appearance.
❏ Valid driver’s license.
❏ Basic computer knowledge, skills and type at least 50 wpm.
❏ Able to speak English clearly and write legibly. The ability to speak another language is a plus.
❏ Able to pass company drug screen.
❏ Able to maintain a cooperative working relationship with co-workers and offer constructive
criticism when necessary.
❏ Ability to work a flexible schedule
Desired Previous Job Experience:
❏ 2 years of warehouse management, operations or logistics experience.
❏ 1 year of dispatch experience
❏ Previous experience in the rental/event industry.
