Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) – Integrative Care (Part-Time to Full-Time Path) **Location:** Miami Beach, FL. **Position Type:** Part-Time (Starting at 20 hours/week, with a structured path to full-time as patient volume grows) **Practice Type:** Independent, Private Pediatric Integrative Center. ## About Our Practice Located on beautiful Miami Beach, our practice is a unique, independent pediatric center dedicated to blending the absolute best of conventional pediatric medicine with an integrative, holistic approach. We don’t just manage symptoms; we focus on systemic wellness, gut health, nutrition, and environmental factors to support the whole child. Our clinic culture is deeply collaborative, warm, and structured around the well-being of both our young patients and our care team. We operate completely free from hospital-system bureaucracy and corporate production quotas, ensuring our clinicians have a supportive, inspiring environment to practice true healing. ## Position Overview & Growth Path . We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to grow alongside our thriving practice. This position starts as a **part-time role at 20 hours per week**. As we intentionally build your patient panel and demand increases, your hours will gradually scale up toward a full-time schedule. **Prior experience in functional or integrative medicine is a wonderful plus, but it is not a requirement.** If you have a solid conventional pediatric foundation and a deeply curious, open mind—with a genuine desire to learn about evidence-based integrative protocols—we will gladly mentor you and provide the resources to expand your clinical toolkit. ## Schedule & Shared Call Structure * **Clinic Hours:** 20 hours per week initially, with a predictable daytime schedule and a gradual ramp-up to full-time. * **Newborn Rounding:** Morning rounds for newborns at just **one hospital** conveniently located close to our Miami Beach practice. * **On-Call Rotation (Every 3rd Week):** We maintain an incredibly **light, low-stress call environment**. After-hours calls are routed through a dedicated pediatric nurse triage service that resolves the vast majority of patient inquiries; the practitioner on call is rarely contacted. ## Why Join Us? (The Private Practice Advantage) * **A Unique Clinical Landscape:** Practice medicine on Miami Beach in a gorgeous, modern clinical environment that prioritizes organic, non-toxic, and healing-centered spaces. * **Manageable Patient Volumes:** We value quality over quantity. Our scheduling allows dedicated, unhurried time for thorough well-child visits, comprehensive developmental screenings, and meaningful parent education. * **Dedicated Administrative Support:** A highly trained front office, experienced medical assistants, and streamlined billing oversight mean less time spent on paperwork and more time with families. ## Key Responsibilities * Provide comprehensive primary care to infants, children, and adolescents, including well-child visits, acute care, and chronic illness management. * Conduct morning newborn rounds at our local designated hospital during your rotation week. * Partner closely with parents to provide root-cause guidance on nutrition, gut microbiome support, lifestyle, and systemic wellness alongside conventional care guidelines. * Formulate evidence-based, integrative diagnostic and treatment plans, interpreting clinical evaluations and laboratory tests. * Collaborate dynamically with our practice team to maintain an efficient, compassionate, and patient-centered clinical workflow. ## Qualifications & Skills * **Education:** Master’s or Doctorate degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program specializing in Pediatrics (PNP-PC). * **Licensure:** Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license and prescriptive authority in the state of Florida. Must have or be eligible for medical staff privileges at our designated local hospital. * **Certification:** Board certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP-PC) via the PNCB or ANCC. * **Mindset:** A strong foundation in conventional pediatric medicine coupled with an open, enthusiastic interest in or learning and applying integrative/functional wellness concepts. ## Benefits & Compensation * Competitive, pro-rated hourly rate or base salary commensurate with experience, with a clear transition plan to a full benefits package as hours scale to full-time. Uncapped Bonus based on percentage as practice grows.
