Job Summary
Foundation Cigar Company is one of the fastest-growing premium cigar brands in the industry, known for award-winning blends and a commitment to craftsmanship. We are seeking a passionate, relationship-driven sales professional to expand our presence throughout the Southeast. The Southeast territory includes Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
This role is field-based and focuses on building strong retail relationships, executing in-store events, and driving consistent sell-through of our product portfolio. This position is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who enjoys outside sales and working independently across a large territory.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow sales across the Southeast territory
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets
- Open new retail accounts while growing existing customer relationships
- Serve as the brand authority, educating retailers and consumers on Foundation’s heritage and products
- Plan and lead in-store events and staff trainings to build brand awareness, product knowledge, and demand
- Execute regular in-person store visits to drive merchandising, promotions, and product sell-through
- Maintain accurate customer records, activity tracking, and reporting within the CRM platform
- Partner with internal teams to ensure exceptional support and execution across all customer accounts
- Travel extensively throughout Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee, including evenings and weekends as needed
- Represent Foundation Cigars at trade shows and key industry events
Qualifications
- 2+ years of outside sales or territory management experience preferred, but not required
- Premium cigar, spirits, wine, luxury goods, or related industry experience is a plus
- Proven ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong communication, presentation, and follow-up skills
- Highly organized and able to manage travel, events, and a large territory
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Proficient with technology, digital platforms, and sales software
