Position Summary
We are seeking a qualified, detail-oriented Central Station Agent to join our remote guarding team. Ideal candidates will have prior law enforcement, military experience, security background, or be pre-service police cadets. The role involves monitoring properties via military-grade analytics, investigating incidents, guiding first responders, and preventing crime through proactive intervention.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct investigations and assess suspicious or criminal activities captured via remote monitoring systems.
- Utilize two-way speaker systems on client properties to prevent crime and catastrophe through direct communication.
- Preserve life and ensure safety by guiding police officers to incident locations with accurate and detailed information.
- Perform threat assessments to identify potential risks and escalate as necessary.
- Download and manage video footage for clients, law enforcement officers, and prosecutors.
- Collaborate with law enforcement and internal teams to support swift and effective incident response.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes.
- Adhere to all company protocols and legal standards to maintain a safe and secure monitoring environment.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures and scripts when reporting crimes in progress
Qualifications
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military, security, or related field (minimum 3 years preferred) OR current Pre-Service Police Cadet status.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to accurately, effectively and clearly articulate what is being observed to police dispatch.
- Ability to assist and work as a team to handle situations that require police response.
- Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills for incident assessment and reporting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule starting part-time (3 days per week), with potential for full-time employment.
- Must pass a thorough background check, no felonies, parole, or probation.
