Williamstown Middle High School is seeking a World Language Teacher to join our grades 612 school community in the heart of Central Vermont. WMHS teachers, support staff, and administrators work together to ensure every student is appreciated, connected, supported, and challenged to grow intellectually, socially, and emotionally. Our students engage in rigorous academic coursework while also learning beyond the school walls through work-based learning, dual enrollment, career education, and farm and food systems learning.The World Language Teacher at WMHS teaches our 9th-12th grade students to read, write, speak and listen in a language other than English. Also, WMHS World Language teacher plays an important role in helping students explore different cultures, develop a sense of global citizenship, and appreciate how language shapes communication and understanding.
