The Assisi Heights Spirituality Center provides spiritual and educational programs which reflect the mission of the Sisters of Saint Francis “to be a compassionate presence for peace in our world, striving for justice and reverence for all creation” by providing a place of hope, prayer, reflection and enrichment.
This role supports the AHSC Director and Event Coordinator by assisting with logistical and administrative support for the planning and executing of programs and events. Ideal position for someone who is detail-oriented, adaptable, friendly, dependable, and enjoys creating welcoming, well-organized experiences that reflect the mission and hospitality of the Sisters of St. Francis.
PT position 10-20 hours per week requiring flexible work schedule to accommodate evening and weekend programs
Essential Functions
- Provides on-site support the setup coordination, hospitality arrangements, and materials preparations
- Provides exceptional customer service to guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Provides audiovisual (AV) and Zoom set-up and support for in-person and virtual events
- Supports post-event follow-up including evaluations, thank-you emails and reports
- Assists in maintaining the AHSC event calendar
- Supports data entry, attendance tracking, and basic recordkeeping
Qualifications
- Experience in events, hospitality, or administrative support preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Proficient in time management and organizational tasks
- Proficient with technology, including Google Workspace and Zoom
- Ability maintain confidentiality and respectful engagement with diverse individuals
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
