Position Description and Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting the Directorate of Human Resources to provide world class personnel service support for the Fort Riley Transition Assistance Program. Manages and maintains workstations — both local machines and domain‑joined systems — ensuring they are secure, functional, and aligned with organizational policies. This includes installing/removing software, configuring settings, troubleshooting, and applying security controls.
Required Qualifications:
- Five years' DoD experience in working with networking operating systems to include planning, analysis, development, testing, quality assurance, configuration, installation, implementation, integration, maintenance, and/or management of networked systems used for the transmission of information in voice, data, and/or video formats.
- Must acquire and maintain a valid computer environment training certificate (i.e. CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+) IAW DoD Directive 8570.01-M and local IA policies for the privilege of elevated rights/permissions on local workstations and networked IT/IM assets.
- Familiar with ITSM account requirements for submission of IT work orders.

Education:
B.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
