Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Welder/Fabricator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components according to detailed technical drawings and specifications. Your expertise will help ensure the production of high-quality metal structures and parts, adhering to safety standards and industry best practices. Responsibilities
- Read and interpret mechanical blueprints, and technical drawings to determine fabrication requirements.
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG (Metal Inert Gas), and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas), FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), in accordance with AWS (American Welding Society) standards.
- Fabricate sheet metal components, ductwork, piping systems, and structural elements following safety protocols and engineering specifications.
- Rigging, lifting, and positioning heavy metal parts safely using rigging techniques and equipment like forklifts when necessary.
Requirements
- Proven experience working in fabrication shops with a strong understanding of metal fabrication processes.
- Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, FCAW, and knowledge of ASME codes & standards for pressure vessels or piping systems.
- Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and interpret mechanical blueprints accurately.
- Mechanical knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, pipe threading, ductwork assembly, and general manufacturing processes.
- Experience operating power tools such as grinders, drills, plasma cutters, press brakes, and hand tools safely.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality craftsmanship.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
