Job Summary
Responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of materials, components, and services required to support operations. Must work closely with suppliers and maintain strong relationships to leverage the negotiation of contracts, ensure compliance with company and industry standards, and drive cost-effective procurement. Must also analyze supply chain trends and performance, mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery to support production schedules. Strong knowledge of aerospace materials, regulations, and logistics is essential for success in this role. Effectively resolve and report on supply chain issues with some management oversight.
Essential Functions

Identify and evaluate suppliers, negotiate contracts, and secure materials, components, and indirect goods required for production while ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness

Maintain strong relationships with vendors, monitor performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations

Work closely with production, engineering, quality control, finance, and logistics to align procurement activities with operational needs and product development
- Tracking supplier performance metrics and scorecards

Maintain purchase orders and other required documents to ensure compliance

Works with the supplier on performance issues and develops / implements corrective

Regularly exercise independent judgment and discretion about matters of significance

Actively participate in Production Meetings to ensure parts from Suppliers meet the company's delivery schedules

Drives cost reduction and increase performance by monitoring Suppliers performance for cost delivery, timeliness, and quality through LEAN initiatives
Qualifications/Minimum requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required

Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum 4 years relevant experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred
- Broad knowledge and experience with ERP systems preferred

Good communication skills in written and verbal form

Proficient with MS Office tools (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)

Ability to read, write, and speak in English proficiently

Salary Range: $67k to $90k per year. This estimated range represents a good faith projection of what we believe is a competitive compensation range for this position.
