Veterinarian Technician Job Responsibilities:
Appointment & Doctor Support: Assist veterinarians with appointments, utilizing safe
handling and restraint techniques to ensure a low-stress experience for pets.
Client Education: Act as a primary resource for pet owners—educating them on
preventative care, medications, and medical treatment plans.
Advanced Diagnostics & Lab Work: Perform sample collection (including venipuncture),
diagnostic testing, digital radiography, and proficient cytology preparation and
interpretation.
Surgery & Anesthesia: Assist with minor procedures, surgical prep, anesthesia
monitoring, and comprehensive post-operative care.
Treatments & Patient Care: Administer vaccines, medications, and treatments exactly as
prescribed.
Clinic Flow & Records: Maintain accurate, thorough medical records while keeping exam
rooms and treatment areas clean, organized, and ready
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
