American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic position requiring a minimum of 3 years of oncology experience and an active WI or compact RN license.

Outpatient Hematology/Oncology Clinic setting in a fast-paced environment

Day shift, Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)

13-week contract

Caseload includes patients across a broad range of cancer diagnoses including leukemia/blood dyscrasias, lymphoma, breast, lung, colorectal, and other solid tumor types
-
Responsibilities include triaging patient phone calls, managing MyChart messages, and entering physician orders for labs and diagnostics

Nurses work directly with physicians and APPs to coordinate patient care, including collaboration with Infusion and Radiation teams
-
Epic EMR required
-
INR and iron infusion patient follow-up are part of the regular workflow
-
Active WI or compact RN license required; pending license accepted but must be obtained prior to starting
-
Current BLS certification required and must be in hand at time of consideration

Minimum 3 years of oncology nursing experience required
-
Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered

Proficiency in Epic EMR required

Skills required include chemotherapy administration, psychosocial care, symptom management, pain management, isolation precautions/PPE, and recognition of abnormal lab values

SSN and DOB required for consideration

Two supervisor references required (from within the past 2 years)

Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required
-
All RTO requests must be submitted at time of initial consideration

Responsibilities include patient education including chemotherapy talks, coordinating diagnostics, following up on treatment plans, and supporting genetic testing workflows

Nurses track INR patients and follow iron infusion patients as part of their regular duties
-
Travelers with latex allergies cannot be accommodated at this facility
-
Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have been separated for a minimum of 1 year before returning

Travel pairs are accepted

Orientation includes module completion averaging 3–4 hours
