We are looking for a dependable Full Time individual to join our Property Management team that maintains commercial, industrial and retail properties. Our company is interested in hiring a self-motivated individual who can interact well with customers and contractors. We take pride in our local business that successfully serves over 100 tenants in the Capital District and beyond. Our clients are our focus on a daily basis therefore customer service is a must and experience in preventative and repair maintenance is required. A hands-on approach to all projects is necessary in this role.
Applicants can expect to perform maintenance projects, service and repairs, preventative maintenance tasks, lights, painting, HVAC, electrical and plumbing, grounds work including shoveling, snow removal. Many other duties are assigned as needed (furniture moving, cleaning, deliveries, contract oversight, etc.). Those mechanically inclined and able to work with your hands and with others will help you develop a successful career with our company. You must have NYS Driver's license in good standing in order to be considered; company background check required. Opportunities for advancement are possible for the right individual. The ability to provide superior customer service is critical.
Applicant responsibilities include:
- Daily property maintenance work (building inspections, bulb replacement, door adjustments, temperature issues, toilet/sink repairs, etc.). Performs routine maintenance in accordance with established safety procedures. Ability to work outside in poor weather conditions (salt & shovel) Completes timesheets daily. Attends mandatory weekly safety meetings. Follows dress code each day. Works and communicates well with other staff, vendors and tenants.
General hours are Monday - Friday.
