Beach Montessori is looking for strong and reliable teachers and assistant teachers. Duties include but are not limited to leading activities, supervising playtime, and employing a variety of educational techniques to teach children (storytelling, educational play). Must be able to regularly communicate with parents to understand children's background and psyche in order to best help children. Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards. Must be a team player and able to collaborate with other educators.
A strong work ethic is a must- you must be reliable, as not just your fellow educators rely on you but also the children. Early childhood education is the foundation for healthy, well rounded adults, they are our future; love, kindness and patience are just as important as teaching boundaries, and good behavior.
We use the Montessori Method to meet children's academic needs and Biblical principles to meet children's spiritual needs and encourage civic duties. We use a multi-aged classroom structure.
- At least 18 years old of age
- Dependable, reliable, flexible, loving, caring and overall a team player with a positive personality and is able to communicate well with children, parents and the staff
- At least 6-month to one year of teaching experience with toddlers, infants, or young school age children in the classroom.
Part time and full time positions available.
Pay rate depends on amount of experience and shall be discussed during a scheduled interview.
