Summary
Journey ABA is seeking an experienced Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team as Lead RBT. This position is designed for a skilled RBT who is passionate about supporting clients while mentoring fellow Behavior Technicians through in-person clinical modeling, training, and ongoing support. The Lead RBT plays a key role in maintaining quality clinical services, providing coverage for client sessions, and helping develop the skills and confidence of our BT and RBT teams throughout the Eastern Massachusetts region.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct ABA therapy services to clients ranging in age from 3 to 21 years old.
- Provide in-person clinical support and model best practices for Behavior Technicians during client sessions.
- Lead new hire and ongoing staff trainings in both virtual and in-person settings.
- Utilize Rethink for clinical documentation and support as needed.
- Provide session coverage within assigned service areas to ensure continuity of client care.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, Operations, and fellow team members to promote high-quality clinical outcomes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and complete all required administrative tasks in a timely manner.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and company trainings.
- Serve as a positive role model and resource for BTs and RBTs across the organization.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as an RBT.
- Experience using the Rethink platform and comfortable navigating documentation requirements.
- Comfortable leading trainings in both virtual and in-person environments.
- Confident providing hands-on clinical support and modeling during therapy sessions.
- Experience working with clients across a wide range of ages (3–21 years old).
- Ability to provide client session coverage within approximately a 30-mile radius of your home during business hours of 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM, based on business needs.
- Flexible and adaptable with changing daily and weekly schedules.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates a collaborative, team-first mentality.
- Safety-Care certification is preferred or recent prior experience with Safety-Care techniques.
