If so, Fiesta Paint, Wallpaper and Shutters in Brownsville, Texas, a proud retailer of premium Benjamin Moore paints and coatings, is looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Experienced Paint Specialist to join our team.
As an Experienced Paint Specialist, you will be the go-to resource for our customers, providing expert advice and guidance on product selection, application techniques, and color matching. Your proven experience in the paint industry will be crucial in building strong customer relationships and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service, understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of Benjamin Moore products, including paints, stains, primers, and specialty coatings.
- Accurately mix and tint paints to customer specifications using computerized color matching systems.
- Offer expert advice on surface preparation, application techniques, and problem-solving.
- Assist customers with color selection, providing color swatches, fan decks, and inspiration.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving shipments and stocking shelves.
- Stay up-to-date on new products, technologies, and industry trends through training and independent learning.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Adhere to all store policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in the paint industry, preferably in a retail paint store setting. If you do not have experience, Social Media Marketing Experience and Sales Experience is a huge plus and an exemption will be made. We can train you on paint.
- Proven ability to provide excellent customer service and build customer loyalty.
- Strong knowledge of paint products, application techniques, and color theory.
- Experience with paint mixing and tinting equipment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

- Basic computer skills and proficiency in using point-of-sale systems.
- Ability to lift and carry paint cans and other merchandise (up to 50 lbs) safely.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred, given the Brownsville location.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
