We are looking for an Account Receivable Collections Specialist to join our team
directly with supporting customers and the accounting team.
In this role, you will:
- Manage and collect outstanding customer balances to support consistent cash flow.
- Focuses on proactive outreach to delinquent accounts
- Resolving payment issues
- Negotiating payment arrangements
- Ensuring adherence to company credit and collection policies
- Maintains accurate accounts receivable records
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve billing disputes that impact timely payments
- Collection specific duties such as monitoring overdue accounts and follow up
- Accounts Receivable specific duties such as apply/reapply customer payments (ACH, checks, credit cards, wires) to accounts as needed
- Billing specific duties such as supporting month-end and year end close activities to billing and revenue recognition
What you bring to this role:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree in accounting or finance preferred
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable and/or collections
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to work independently and manage tasks efficiently and accurately with minimal supervision.
- Experience in B2B collections
- Familiarity with credit and collections policies
- Ability to analyze aging reports and identify risk accounts
- Professional, firm, and diplomatic negotiation skills
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management principles.
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
