We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a memorable dining experience by delivering high-quality service, hospitality, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system.
- Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials, to enhance the guest experience.
- Upsell menu items to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently, ensuring timely delivery to guests.
- Monitor tables for guest satisfaction and respond promptly to any needs or requests.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and service.
Requirements
- Previous restaurant experience preferred, particularly in fine dining or upscale environments.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations within the food industry.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
