We are seeking a dependable, friendly, and motivated Part-Time Medical Assistant to join our growing dermatology practice in Silver City, New Mexico. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both patient care and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced medical environment.
Position Type
- Part-Time
- Flexible schedule may include 2–4 days per week
- Daytime office hours only (no nights or weekends)
ResponsibilitiesClinical / Medical Assistant Duties
- Room patients and obtain vital signs and medical history
- Prepare exam and procedure rooms
- Assist provider with dermatology procedures and treatments
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Educate patients regarding medications, procedures, and follow-up care
- Handle prescription refill requests and prior authorizations
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work independently
- Familiarity with EMR systems and basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance required

- $16–$19 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications
