Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of esthetic services including facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and eyelash extensions to meet client needs.
- Conduct skin analysis and provide personalized recommendations for skincare routines and products.
- Deliver advanced aesthetic treatments such as laser hair removal, botulinum toxin injections, dermal fillers, and esthetic laser treatments with precision and safety.
- Administer waxing services including body waxing and hair threading to ensure smooth results.
- Maintain strict sanitation procedures to uphold health standards and client safety during all treatments.
- Utilize salon software like MINDBODY to schedule appointments, manage client records, and process retail sales efficiently.
- Engage with clients through effective communication, ensuring a positive experience that encourages repeat visits and referrals.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology or esthetician license as required by state law.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a focus on skincare and aesthetic treatments.
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques to promote skincare products and services.
- Knowledge of salon software systems such as MINDBODY for appointment management and sales tracking.
- Skilled in performing facials, waxing (including body waxing), eyelash extensions, tinting services, makeup application, and nail care.
- Familiarity with advanced treatments like chemical peels, laser hair removal, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, dermal fillers, botulinum toxin treatment, and laser treatments.
- Strong understanding of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
- Excellent client communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
