Little Doves Children’s Learning Center is hiring a Lead Pre-K Teacher (ages 3y-5y)
This is a structured classroom focused on helping children build independence, confidence, and school readiness skills. We are looking for a teacher who enjoys working with this age group and can provide consistency, patience, and strong classroom leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead a structured daily routine for pre-k aged children
- Plan and implement simple, engaging activities (curriculum support provided)
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom
- Communicate with families about daily activities and progress
- Guide and support assistant teachers
- Use positive behavior management strategies
- Prepare children for Kindergarten
Skills
- Experience working with young children (pre-k preferred)
- Strong classroom management and leadership skills
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Reliable and consistent
Requirements
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification
- TB test clearance
- Food Handler’s Permit
- Bloodborne Pathogens training
- Completion of 30 hours of Child Care Basics / STARS training
- Initial ECE Certificate (12 credits)
Schedule
- 8-hour shifts
- Monday–Friday
- No nights or weekends
