The veterinary assistant will work directly with our medical team and volunteers.
The pay range for this position is $20/hr - $25/hr.
The veterinary assistant will be responsible for but not limited to:
- performing and assisting with intake exams and blood draws
- administration of vaccinations, medications, and microchips
- handling and interacting with cats with a wide range of personalities
- accurate record keeping in Shelter Manager
- creation and maintenance animal adoption folders
- effective and professional communication with the board of directors, other staff and volunteers, and the public
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
