Job Title: Certified Surgical Technician
Client: HFH
Type: Contract (13 weeks)
Location: Jackson MI
Shift: Rotating 3x12s (Monday–Friday)
- Day shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- On-call: Once per week
- Weekend call: One weekend every 6 weeks
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a Surgical Technician
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- CST
Job Summary:
Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and surgical team members, the Surgical Technician is responsible for:
- Handling surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment during procedures
- Understanding the surgical procedure and anticipating the surgical team’s needs
- Supporting patient preparation and transport
- Assisting with building services and patient care duties
- Responding to emergencies per established protocols
