Director of Sales

The Director of Sales will work closely with the management team to develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy that maximizes occupancy, revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction. This key leadership position works directly with the General Manager to drive the hotel's overall success.
Qualifications
· Previous hotel sales experience required; Marriott experience preferred or equivalant.
· Front desk, front office, or hotel operations experience is a plus.
· Strong sales, marketing, customer service, and communication skills.
· Self-starter with a proven ability to generate new business and build lasting client relationships.
· Team builder and team player with a positive, professional attitude.
Responsibilities
· Develop new business through outside sales calls, networking, prospecting, and community involvement.
· Build and maintain corporate, government, group, and SMERF business.
· Work closely with Marriott Global Sales and hotel leadership to achieve revenue goals.
· Assist with revenue and yield management to maximize occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability.
· Develop and execute the hotel's sales and marketing plan while identifying new business opportunities.
· Build strong relationships with clients and deliver exceptional customer service.
· Attend trade shows, networking events, and community functions to promote the hotel.
· Work collaboratively with the General Manager and all hotel departments to ensure outstanding guest experiences and achieve financial goals.

Salary to be determined based on experience. Will include base salary plus commission.
Pay: $79,000.00 - $89,000.00 per year
