Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nanny/Homeschool Helper to provide attentive childcare and educational support within a private home setting. The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for nurturing children, with experience in caregiving, homeschooling assistance, and managing daily household tasks. This role offers an engaging opportunity to support children's development while maintaining a fun environment. We are looking for someone that is very active and can do activities such as hiking, swimming, biking, skiing with our 4th grade son. We are looking for someone to help on Monday 10am-1pm and Tuesday 9am-1pm
Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for child, ensuring their safety, well-being, and emotional comfort at all times.
- Assist with homeschooling activities, educational play and age-appropriate instruction aligned with parents’ curriculum preferences.
- Perform light household duties such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining an organized living space to ensure a tidy environment conducive to learning and play.
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks.
- Offer personal transportation assistance for children to appointments, extracurricular activities, or outings as needed.
- Implement safety protocols including first aid and CPR procedures when necessary; monitor children closely during all activities.
- Collaborate with parents to communicate daily updates on children’s progress, behavior, and any concerns that may arise.
Experience
- Experience working with children in a caregiving or nannying capacity within private homes or daycare settings.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
