Master Scheduler – Aerospace Manufacturing
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to manage and optimize the production schedule for our aerospace manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining the master production schedule to ensure on-time delivery, efficient resource utilization, and alignment with customer demand and operational capacity.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in aerospace or precision manufacturing environments and hands-on experience with JobBOSS ERP for scheduling, order management, and production planning.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and manage the Master Production Schedule (MPS) to meet customer delivery commitments.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to ensure schedule accuracy and feasibility.
- Utilize JobBOSS ERP to plan, track, and update production schedules and work orders.
- Monitor shop floor capacity, material availability, and labor constraints to maintain efficient workflow.
- Analyze production data to identify scheduling conflicts, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Prioritize production orders based on customer demand, due dates, and operational priorities.
- Communicate schedule changes and risks to leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to scheduling, planning, and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate reporting of production status and delivery performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in production scheduling or planning in a manufacturing environment
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or precision manufacturing strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience with JobBOSS ERP or similar manufacturing ERP systems
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, work orders, routings, and shop floor control
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and production reporting tools
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with AS9100 or aerospace quality systems
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement methodologies

Pay: $55,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
