Summary
We are seeking an Academic Operations Manager to join our dynamic team at Zinkerz Inc. In this role, you will oversee the daily operations of our educational programs and ensure that our innovative test preparation solutions are delivered effectively to students across various platforms. Your leadership will be crucial in driving our mission to enhance student learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of educational programs and app functionalities.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with product development teams to enhance user experience based on student feedback.
- Oversee student progress, connect with counseling team, and communicate with families about student success.
- Manage relationships with educational institutions and stakeholders to promote our offerings.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and growth.
- Lead a team of educators and support staff in delivering high-quality educational content.
- Oversee and evaluate all online curricula for SAT, AP, and other courses, making enhancements as needed.
- Teach courses we offer both online and in person.
- Manage content, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met.
- Supervise and support educators and staff, including hiring, onboarding, and training.
- Coordinate scheduling to ensure consistent coverage and student support.
- Develop and implement systems to streamline workflows and improve student learning outcomes.
- Organize and oversee summer camps and cultural activities, including travel logistics (additional hours may be required).
- Connect with students facing academic challenges to support their success.
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including occasional seasonal availability during evenings and weekends, especially during peak periods such as exam seasons.
- Collaborate with HR on payroll, vacation, and team development activities.
- Support special projects and tasks as needed, including international travel and teacher development initiatives.
- Travel internationally up to 3 weeks a year to meet with students and teach in person.
Requirements
- Proven experience in academic program management or related educational leadership roles.
- Familiarity with Google Drive, Documents, and Sheets.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Positive attitude and cheerful demeanor.
- Ability to work flexibly outside traditional hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
- Preference for candidates with a background in Math or English.
- Strong understanding of the educational landscape, particularly in standardized test preparation.
- Experience working directly with students or in higher education settings is preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
