TSH is looking for an Inspector. The Inspector position is responsible for maintaining fleet integrity in a safe and efficient manner. Ensuring that all equipment is DOT compliant and adheres to all TSH safety requirements.
- Provide customer service to both internal and external customers and owner operators.
- Inspect trucks and trailers within the scope of checklist.
- Perform DOT inspections for trucks and trailers.
- Complete interchanges on tablet.
- Assist in completing monthly inventory.
- Inspect loaded trailers for proper securement and travel safety specifications.
- Assist mechanics during down time.
- Complete appropriate paperwork as required.
- Assist in keeping the yard clean from debris, trash, or other unsafe materials.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to perform work functions in an outdoor environment with extreme weather conditions.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with tools, equipment, etc.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to follow up and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven experience to operate a forklift.
