Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across designated routes. This role requires a strong understanding of various Ports. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
Duties
- Plan and follow efficient routes for timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition before departure.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure that all cargo is secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
Have Twic Card
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving or delivery driver roles with a strong understanding of route driving principles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the road.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
