Bradshaw Christian School is hiring school support staff. This is an on-call, as needed position on our substitute list. Come join our team!
Location and Age Group?
Positions could be at our Elementary campus (TK-5th graders) or Middle School campus (6th-8th graders).
Schedule?
This is an on-call, as needed position. Daily schedule could be 2-8 hours per day between the hours of 6:30 am and 6:00 pm. We are especially interested in you if you are available between 3-5 pm Monday-Friday.
We can't guarantee a certain number of hours per week, but we do use our subs often!
Duties:
- Assisting teachers in the classroom, grading, copying, and leading small groups.
-Lead before and after school club of up to 25 children, ensuring student safety inside and outside the classroom.
- Supervise homework and academic support time.
- Supervise students during lunch and recess to maintain safety.
- Maintain accurate attendance records and office referrals.
-Interact with children in a way which conveys respect and nurturing
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students, such as Vacation Bible School, Sunday School, coaching, classroom assistance, tutoring, nannying or babysitting.
- Demonstrate a personal commitment and dedication to Jesus Christ and behavior that is professional, ethical, spiritual, and responsible.
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- Ability to work on a team with individuals from varying backgrounds.
- Have patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
-Reliable, punctual and flexible are a must!
