Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries via phone, email, or chat, ensuring clear and courteous communication.
- Assist members with account management, including data entry, updates, and troubleshooting using computer systems.
- Provide detailed information about services, benefits, and policies using medical terminology when necessary to ensure clarity.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions, transactions, and resolutions in our database.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex issues through analysis skills and problem-solving techniques.
- Uphold excellent phone etiquette and customer service standards at all times to create a welcoming experience.
- Support members by explaining medical terminology and procedures in a clear, bilingual or multilingual manner when applicable.
Experience
- Prior experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in data entry and familiarity with customer service software.
- Bilingual or multilingual proficiency, including English and French, is highly valued. Additional language skills are considered a significant asset in effectively serving diverse member populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
- Experience working with medical terminology enhances your ability to assist members accurately.
