Duties
- Supervise daily restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and kitchen management
- Lead and motivate team members through effective training, staff development, and performance management
- Manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing waste and controlling costs
- Oversee POS systems such as CloverPOS and Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and food handling procedures to guarantee guest safety
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming dining experience
- Assist in shift management by coordinating staff schedules, overseeing food production, and maintaining high service standards
Experience
- Proven assistant manager experience in a restaurant or food service environment with a focus on quick service or casual dining
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen operations
- Hands-on experience with POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS; strong cash handling skills
- Demonstrated ability to supervise teams effectively within hospitality or restaurant management settings
- Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, profit & loss analysis, and food safety management
- Prior experience in managing hospitality teams in fast-paced environments such as casual dining or banquet settings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train staff, conduct interviews, and communicate managerial expectations clearly
