Job Description
Our outside service team is the first and last impression to all members and guests of Chatham Hills. The Outside Service Attendant ensures outside components of golf operations is facilitated. This specifically relates to golf cart fleet management, driving range, and putting green management along with consistent facility/grounds cleanliness and upkeep.
General Duties
· Meets and greets all guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner
· Dispenses range balls in accordance with club policies
· Sets up, maintains, and tears down all practice facilities
· Provides carts that are in excellent working condition by directing them to that daily staging area and returning them to the garage free of debris and items
· Ensure carts are properly stored and charged
· Comply with safety procedures and policies while performing job duties
· Inspect carts and equipment to detect wear and damage to ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper working order; communicate damage and concerns to Golf Pro
· Always maintains a clean and orderly appearance of starer booth
· Must be physically able to work
· Supplies players with score cards, pencils, and rules of play
· Performs standard opening and closing procedures
· Assists with and anticipation members/guests needs and wants
· Performs other appropriate tasks assigned by Supervisor
· Communicates in a clear and professional manner that assists guest in playing the course
· Maintains goof personal hygiene; reports to work wearing a clean, neat uniform that follows uniform standards
Qualifications
· High School diploma or GED equivalent desirable.
· Excellent Communication Skills
· Positive Interpersonal Skills
· Must be able to perform tasks outdoors
· Outgoing personality and strong work ethic are preferred
- The outside operations team will have a continuous workflow throughout the day, and it is imperative to stay moving. When you get behind on tasks, it makes the day longer and postpones other tasks that are related to closing. Getting behind on your work only piles on more things to do before you can leave for the day. Always work towards the close!
The outside operations team will be tasked with the following:
- - Greeting members and guests as they arrive and facilitating their exceptional experience throughout their time on property.
- - Assisting players as they finish their round with their golf carts, clubs, and other items.
- - Maintaining golf cart fleet by washing, staging, and restocking with supplies.
- - Reporting any damages or malfunctions within the golf cart fleet immediately to the 1st Assistant.
- - Maintaining practice facilities by cleaning spaces, restocking hitting areas, picking the facilities of range balls, and washing and storing supplies at the end of every shift.
- Maintaining practice facilities throughout the day (range/putting green/short game area) o Closing range every night, and clean picking twice a week (Sundays & Thursdays)
- Setting up range equipment in the morning
