We are currently seeking inspired and motivated Deli employees to join our Mana Foods Ohana!
We are looking for a courteous, customer-focused deli employee who is committed to providing customers with the best service possible. Deli employees will clean and prepare workstations and displays, answer questions and respond to customer requests, and provide information to customers.
To succeed as a deli employee, you should be polite, prompt, and knowledgeable. Additionally, you should be able to meet the physical demands of the position while providing customers with the best possible experience.
Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli counter customers by answering questions, making recommendations, and responding to requests.
Slicing, weighing, and packaging meats and cheeses.
Creating sandwiches and keeping the sandwich display area clean and neat.
Ensuring that the work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning surfaces, equipment, and sinks.
Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the Health Department.
Cooperating with co-workers to ensure customer satisfaction.
Preparing salad and sandwich bar items for the next day to make sure the deli is running as efficiently as possible.
Prefer 18 or older due to using the slicer.
Required to be able to lift heavy items, up to 50lbs.
Required to have some sort of past customer service experience, food preparation experience preferred.
Required to have excellent customer service and communication.
Required to comprehend and follow all Mana Foods procedures and regulations.
Required to have a courteous and efficient approach to handling customer requests, questions, and complaints.
