The Supervisor, Product Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the marketing plan for the assigned product line through managing the product team while interfacing with the LTL Accounting and Logistics, the DeliveryOne Network, Sales Representatives and Client Relationship Managers.
Responsibilities
Product Management
- Create and establish new business processes that streamline the interfaces between the product line, Mansfield business functions, and customers.

Develop good long term customer relationships, and high customer satisfaction.

Assist Commercial Sales Representative in engaging prospects and present the product.

Coordinates with the Commercial Sales Representative to ensure seamless interaction with the customer during customer engagement and onboarding.

Manages the details of ongoing customer relationships in respect to use of the product.

Create and maintain product marketing materials, supporting materials, and product training.
- Business development-establish and improve processes to ensure growth and profitability.

Logistics - Track and report on product licensees and product volumes. Establish and maintain relationships with product vendors.

Accounting - timely and accurate customer invoicing and carrier payment.
Account Profitability
- Perform inside sales activities, including developing call scripts, inside sales processes, making calls, tracking progress, and closing sales.

Track market effectively, analyzes profit and loss by customer and customer locations to identify areas for greater product penetration and greater profitability.

Decides upon and implements strategies to improve customer profitability
Business and Technical Support
- Educates and train internal and external customers to utilize the product.

Oversee and prioritize dedicated external IT resource to maintain service delivery and enhance user functionality.
- Ensure functionality between the product, Entinuum, and any other Mansfield system.

Reviews credit and rebill requests and accept or deny as needed.

Completes new account set-up and change requests as needed to support CRM

Assists Territory Managers, CRMs and Sales Representative in RFP bid preparation and response.
- Participate (by phone or in person) in New Customer Implementation Meetings with customers.
Departmental Leadership
- Develop clear vision, goals, and objectives for the department that support company goals and objectives.

Position Requirements
Formal Education & Certification
-
Bachelor Degree in business or related or related work experience
Knowledge & Experience
-
Intermediate to expert Excel proficiency and confidence in other Microsoft Suite programs

At least 3 years’ work experience in product marketing or sales

Good presentation and formal proposal skills
-
Supervisor/management experience a plus
-
Experience in developing & managing KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators)

Experience in rate negotiation
-
Knowledge of the logistics and distribution infrastructures associated with the Specialty Product lines

Petroleum or card services experience a plus
