Job Summary
Lead Foot Automotive is looking for a skilled and reliable A-Level Automotive Technician. This role will include both shop-based repairs and mobile service work, so we need someone who is versatile, dependable, and ready to tackle a wide variety of jobs. Full-time position, $25-35/hour (depending on experience).
Responsibilities
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, engine repair, drive train repair, suspension and brake inspections.
- Assist in diagnosing automotive issues using various tools and equipment.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Work with automotive electrical systems, including wiring schematics and diagnostics.
- Support the service team with vehicle alignments, powertrain repairs, and transmission services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
- Minimum 3+ years experience as an automotive mechanic/technician preferred.
- Tools not provided; candidates must bring their own.
- Basic mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and welding skills.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, schematics, and electrical systems is a plus.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience working on GM/Ford vehicles is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
