BattleCM is currently seeking a talented and motivated Civil Engineer - Project Engineer with over 5 years of experience in land development relation to transportation projects.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the hands on planning, design, and execution of various transportation infrastructure projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and contribute to the design and development of transportation projects, including highways, roads, bridges, and related infrastructure.
Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project goals are met.
Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and standards.
Coordinate with clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies to secure necessary project approvals and permits.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively.
Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technical staff.
Utilize engineering software tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop project designs.
Ensure all project activities comply with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s Degree is a plus.
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or the ability to obtain licensure within a year.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on transportation projects.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant engineering software.
Strong understanding of transportation design standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
