Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related degree
CAD experience preferred
3D Design software experience recommended
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft TEAMS, Outlook and Adobe/Bluebeam
Experience with some physical mechanical equipment preferred
Commitment to quality, responsibility, high work standards, and initiatives
Strong communication skills required to provide effective inter-discipline, client, vendor, and construction coordination on projects
Availability for field assignments involving travel to sites involving work in industrial facilities
Highly motivated with ability to work in an interactive and open team environment
Self-starter with initiative and ability to complete deliverables and tasks with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and ability to prepare design calculations, technical documents, and drawings
Willingness to learn and work on a variety of tasks within multiple industries

Deeper understanding of how major equipment and inline instrumentation work together
Salary/Pay Rate:
In accordance with Illinois Equal Pay Act, the expected salary range for this Illinois position, Engineer I Piping, is between $75,400.00 and $106,163.20 annually. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience, geographic location, and other job-related factors as permitted by law.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Employee will be required to communicate in person, via telephone, email, Microsoft TEAMS, use of arm/hand steadiness, manual dexterity, finger dexterity, multi limb coordination, oral expression, and comprehension. May be required to lift, carry and move objects safely.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee will work in multiple environments including an office, trailer or building on construction sites. On construction sites, noise levels will be moderate to high. Job sites may contain the following: light to heavy equipment vehicles, small to large equipment, materials, communication equipment and tools, people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking. Noise levels vary and may include bells, whistles, and alarms.
