Job Summary
The RTF Doors & Fronts Sander is responsible for ensuring that all RTF doors and fronts are sanded on a timely manner. Inspect the quality of the received material and perform housekeeping and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Essential Functions and Duties
Responsible for sanding all doors and fronts cut on the CMS and Giotto Routers.
Responsible for checking the quality of product.
Responsible for verifying the material packages are complete.
Responsible for ordering all missing doors and fronts.
Responsible for maintaining and able to comply with company standards for sanding in an error free manner.
Qualifications
Must be able to physically perform daily tasks, which include lifting material weighing in excess of 50 lbs. or more.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in completing assigned daily duties.
Must be able to distinguish between different color & dimensions.
Must be able to perform basic math skills and the ability to read a measuring tape and caliper in metric dimensions.
Must have a strong sense of urgency in accomplishing hourly goals and daily duties.
Education and Experience
Must have a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Will take work experience in lieu of Education.
Physical Requirements and/or Working Conditions
Factory environment, possibly including heavy lifting, and areas where eye protection, hearing protection, and respirators are required.
