Located in Mansura, LA, Kerotest Manufacturing Corp., a world class supplier of products for the energy markets, is looking for a Shipping Cerk. For over 100 years, Kerotest has been a leading supplier of valves, systems, fittings, and accessories for the energy sector, with a particularly strong history in the natural gas distribution and transmission areas.
We are looking for a Shipping Clerk to support daily shipping, receiving, inventory control, and related administrative activities within the Shipping Department.
Key Responsibilities: This position is responsible for helping ensure that customer orders are packaged, shipped, documented, and billed accurately, while also supporting inventory accuracy, vendor communication, regulatory compliance, and coordination with internal departments. The ideal candidate will have shipping and receiving experience and the ability to work effectively with team members, vendors, customers, and management.
Required Skills and Abilities

- Ability to read and interpret procedures, company policies, and shipping-related documentation.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, procedures, and other department documents.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with managers, peers, vendors, and customers.
- Proficiency with PC systems, including creating memos, spreadsheets, and documents.
- Three to five years of related shipping, receiving, inventory control, or warehouse experience preferred.
Work Environment: This position is performed primarily in an office and shipping/warehouse environment. The employee is frequently required to walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, and occasionally stand. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
